Finding happiness in a person isn’t about what they can buy for you. It’s not where they can take you. Neither is it what they can do for you. It’s not about flying you across the world or even professing to social media that you’re their world. It’s not about those red bottoms or even the Gucci belt. It’s not about validating your existence to make you feel better about what you are missing. Finding happiness is about finding that person who teaches you to fly before you fall. The soul that gives you their time. The person who can hear you breaking from miles away, and help you wash the pain away. It’s about the little things, the person who you think about when you listen to favorite artist sing. It’s about someone who looks at you sees infinite possibilities in your potential. Someone who accepts your dreams as their own and means it. It’s finding someone who inspires you to grow. I promise when you find these words I speak of you will know.
